Set Squared was established, specialising in the construction of sets and backdrops for TV commercials.
1986
With the setting up of a design studio, Set Squared’s focus shifted to the design and construction of exhibition stands. This has remained our core business.
1998
Shopfitting and permanent display solutions were added to the portfolio.
2004
Set Squared Systems was formed to offer an alternative exhibition solution to our clients. This division specialises in system designer exhibition stands and portable display material.
2006
Set Squared’s 25th anniversary of creating innovative solutions and setting industry standards of excellence.
2007
Mobile stage hire was identified as a niche offering to the events industry and a distribution agreement for Sub Saharan Africa has been signed with a European supplier.
2008
Set Squared sells 50% of its business to a Broad Based BEE Consortium.
2009
Pixel Displays was formed to provide sales and rentals of LED screen technology to the hospitality, exhibitions and events industries.
2011
